Opening Notification Settings
Go to Settings > Notifications in the WA Orbit dashboard. Here you can choose which events trigger alerts and how they are delivered. Preferences are saved per user, so each team member controls their own notifications.
Delivery Channels
Alerts sent to your registered email address. Recommended for billing notifications, campaign reports, and security alerts you do not want to miss.
In-app
Notifications that appear in the red badge on the dashboard bell icon. Good for real-time activity such as new messages or campaign updates while you are logged in.
Critical alerts sent directly to a WhatsApp number of your choice. Use this for high-priority events like failed payments or server errors.
Choosing Which Events to Track
You can enable or disable notifications for each event type independently:
- New conversation — when a customer starts a new chat in your inbox
- Message received — every incoming message from a contact
- Campaign finished — when a broadcast completes with delivery results
- Billing and renewal — payment success, upcoming renewal, or failed charges
- Security — new login, password change, or two-factor authentication activity
Saving Your Preferences
Your changes save automatically when you toggle an option. If you want to reset everything back to the defaults, use the Reset button at the bottom of the page. To get fewer notifications overall, turn off the in-app channel and keep only the most important event types switched on.
Tip
Keep the WhatsApp channel enabled for security and billing events only. That way you get the alerts that truly matter delivered to your phone, without inbox clutter for every new conversation.
