Before You Start
- A connected WhatsApp Business number
- An approved WhatsApp message template (or create one during setup)
- A contact list with at least one opt-in recipient
Create Your Campaign
- 1
Go to Campaigns
From the left sidebar, click Campaigns and then "Create Campaign". Give your campaign a recognizable name like "Summer Sale 2026".
- 2
Select your message template
Choose from your pre-approved templates or create a new one. Templates can include text, images, videos, documents, and interactive buttons. If your template is not yet approved, WA Orbit will submit it to Meta for review.
- 3
Personalize your message
Use variables like {{1}} to insert contact names, order numbers, or custom fields. Personalized messages get significantly higher open and reply rates.
- 4
Choose your audience
Select who receives the campaign. You can target by tags, custom fields, opt-in lists, or upload a CSV file. WA Orbit automatically filters out numbers that are not on WhatsApp or have opted out.
- 5
Schedule or send immediately
Choose to send the campaign right away or schedule it for a specific date and time with timezone support. For best results, schedule during your audience's active hours.
- 6
Review and send
Preview your message, check the audience count, and confirm the estimated cost. Click "Send Campaign" to launch. You can monitor delivery in real time from the Campaigns dashboard.
Tip
Start with a small test campaign to a handful of your own numbers before sending to your full audience. This lets you verify formatting, personalization variables, and media attachments look correct.
After Sending
Once your campaign is live, you can track its performance from the Campaignsdashboard. Key metrics include:
- Sent — messages successfully handed off to WhatsApp
- Delivered — messages reached the recipient's device
- Read — messages opened by the recipient
- Replied — recipients who responded to your message
