HubSpot Integration

Overview

The HubSpot integration lets you push contacts and deals from WA Orbit into HubSpotCRM when a conversation reaches an interesting point. This keeps your sales pipeline in sync with real WhatsApp conversations — no manual data entry.

The connection uses OAuth, so there are no API tokens to manage. The platform admin sets up the HubSpot app once; individual workspace owners connect by clicking a button and approving the access.

How It Works

• Contact sync — when a new WhatsApp conversation starts, WA Orbit can push the contact into HubSpot automatically (matched by email to avoid duplicates).
• Deal creation — create HubSpotdeals linked to the contact when a conversation reaches an interesting point (e.g. a purchase intent or a support escalation).
• Automatic token renewal — WA Orbit securely stores the connection and keeps it renewed automatically, so you never have to reconnect.
• Activity log — the dashboard shows your HubSpot account name and a recent-activity log of synced contacts and deals.

Step 1 — Platform Admin Setup (One Time)

The platform administrator creates a HubSpot public app and stores the credentials once. Each workspace owner then connects individually.

1. Create a HubSpotpublic app in your developer account.
2. In the app's Auth settings, add the Redirect URL: https://YOUR-DOMAIN/hubspot/oauth/callback
3. Add the required scopes (see below), then copy the Client ID and Client Secret.
4. In WA Orbit, go to Admin → Settings → HubSpot: paste both values, confirm the redirect URI, enable, and Save.

Step 2 — Connect Your Workspace

1. Open More → HubSpot in WA Orbit.
2. Click Connect — you're redirected to HubSpot's consent screen.
3. Approve the requested scopes.
4. WA Orbit securely stores the connection and keeps it renewed automatically.

From then on, WA Orbit can push contacts when a new conversation starts, create deals linked to the contact, and avoid duplicates by matching on email.

Using It

• Auto-create contacts. New WhatsApp conversations automatically create or match HubSpotcontacts.
• Push deals from chat. When a customer expresses purchase intent, create a deal directly from the conversation.
• Keep your pipeline accurate.Deals are linked to the right contacts with conversation context, so your sales team has full visibility.
• Monitor from the dashboard. The HubSpot screen shows your account name, connected status, and a recent-activity log.
